On Sunday, October 5, I attended the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Street Parties (Chicago stop) at the Plaza Garibaldi. This event is one of the largest traveling free music festivals showcasing some of Latin music’s top artists, as well as emerging talent.
Cricket Wireless is an official sponsor of the 2014 Latin GRAMMY Street Parties; thus, as a Cricket Wireless brand ambassador, I was able to experience the event VIP style—which allowed me access to the backstage VIP lounge and front stage area where I could view the performances up-close. Chicago was the first of five tour stops and the featured artists for this city included Voz de Mando, Banda La Chacaloza, and Cardenales de Nuevo León.
Below are a few highlights from the event:
The @BoriquaChicks Vine video shows how close I was to the stage.
The Latin GRAMMY Street Parties festival tour will visit Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and finish in Miami. Click here to see schedule.
