I recently tested out the 2016 Kia Sorento SXL AWD for a week in Chicago. Below I share what I enjoyed about my experience and my overall opinion of the Kia.
There was plenty of room in the car, as it could comfortably fit up to 5 people with its plush seating. It was large enough for my family of 4 with 1 other passenger. The trunk was very spacious. I was able to put groceries and my workout items that I normally keep in my trunk. There was no problem as it easily accommodated my sports equipment and gear. There is a heated Steering Wheel and a 14-Way Power-Adjustable Driver’s Seat which were exceptional. Yes! Winning!
Electronic Device Friendly
One feature I absolutely loved about the Sorento SXL AWD is that you can charge your electronics while in the car. The 2016 Sorento is equipped with up to eight outlets, including four 12v outlets, two available USB rapid-charging ports, one available 110v inverter, and one AUX/USB port. With this ability, you and your passengers never have to worry about losing power while on the road. This feature allowed me to keep my 2 toddlers quiet during our long travels as their games were constantly on charge. Another feature which was so great was the Infinity surround sound audio system. I felt like I was at a live concert as the sounds were so real and captivating. I was also able to easily use my Bluetooth and listen to all my music while driving.

Other thoughts on the 2016 Kia Sorento SXL AWD …
The pricing for the 2016 Sorento starts at $25,100 but a fully loaded Sorento can cost as much as $41,700. It may seem kind of costly for the Kia but it is a great fit for a family of 5 or less, or a single person who is looking for a spacious and upscale SUV as they travel for work and play.
