Did you know that Latino/a-owned small businesses are the fastest growing segment of small businesses in the country?
As entrepreneurs, Boriqua Chicks knows the importance of business owners being equipped with the right information and tools to launch and maintain a successful business. For this reason, we share helpful articles and tips via our Entrepreneur Talk editorial section. Nonetheless, it’s nothing like being able to participate in a live event with experts who can provide you with valuable resources to help you stay on track during your entrepreneurial journey and help you prepare for the future success of your business. Oftentimes, business owners are so bogged down with the day-to-day management of their business, that they may not find the time to take the proper steps to prepare and implement a long-term plan to protect their business.
Knowing your current situation influences your future success. Check out this information on knowing the value of your business.
On, Tuesday, July 12, Raquel and I will be attending Su Negocio, an educational event hosted by MassMutual and the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). The goal of this free financial education program is to provide Latino/a small business owners with the expertise, guidance and resources to help launch a new commercial enterprise or expand their existing business operations.
At the Su Negocio event, the Chicago business community will learn about the many resources available locally–which include legal services, mentorship programs, financial education, and funding resources.
Are you a business owner? Click here to register online for this special event, which will offer a roundtable discussion with business experts, educational workshops for both start-up and growth businesses, and a breakfast networking reception.
