Join Raquel & Rebecca, the lead bloggers of BoriquaChicks.com,–a Chicago-based entertainment and lifestyle blog that offers a fresh, urban, Afro-Latina perspective–as they share their personal journey in creating one of the first online websites that celebrates Afro-Latino/a identity. They will discuss what it means to be Afro-Latino/a and how their site has contributed to the significant increase in mainstream media conversations around Black Latinos/as. They will also share the lessons they’ve learned on how to create a successful blog and build strong relationships through digital social networking.
